Luc Benard is a freelance dancer and had his first steps in Reunion Island where he is from.

He was trained after that in CNSMD de Lyon in France. He started his career as a dancer in “Ballet du Grand Theatre” in Geneva, Switzerland where he worked with many different choreographers during six years. He decided then to put aside his dance career to spend one year in China to practice Kungfu. Since 2011 he came back to France and works as a dancer with many dance companies such as Kelemenis&cie. He also gives different workshops in schools, dance schools, and prisons.

He won a silver medal in the 6th World Traditional Wushu Championship in 2014.
